Raw Honey and Candles

We got into beekeeping because of horrible allergy problems living in the Ohio Valley  and because Jen's Grandpa John had been a beekeeper. She has fond memories of getting 5 gallons of honey a year that the family used for making honey wheat bread and eating on top of toast. We harvest our honey after the bees have enough for winter and when other farm work allows.

We also save our wax and during the Christmas Holidays Jen will make candles from some great silicon molds that she made of bee skeps, old honey jars and other antique bee items. She also has a large bee medallion showing a queen bee on  the comb that any beekeeper would appreciate (pictured above).

Contact Jen at beehillfarm@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing honey, candles, or the bee medallion.
